Co-teaching models
Introduction:
Mrs. Hussain will introduce the lesson using an article and will also annotate the learning target. Mrs. Hussain will review the concept of cause and effect. Explain the use of the timeline to show cause and effect. Miss Williamson and Mrs. Hodges will support.
Video:
For this part of the lesson, the one teach, one support model will be used. Miss Williamson will lead the video. Mrs. Hussain and Mrs. Hodges will support.
Alternative teaching during the timeline activity:
Students will be divided into two groups for the timeline activity. Miss. Williamson will be in charge of the large group and she will help the students create the timeline and answer any questions that they may have with Mrs. Hodges supporting her while Mrs. Hussain will support the students in the small group.
Closure:
One teach, one support will be used while debriefing the students about what they learned in this lesson and if they had any questions that were not answered previously. Miss. Williamson will lead the debrief and Mrs. Hodges and Mrs. Hussain will support.
